About

Hi! I’m Melody Mann (she/her), a registered social worker (RSW, MSW) and psychotherapist.

My husband calls me a "sensitive plant"—I thrive on sunshine, fresh air, and nurturing. I’m a deeply feeling person who loves connection and finds peace in nature. A walk in the woods with my dogs leaves me feeling like a whole new person. Along with being a "dog mom," I’m also a proud mom of two amazing kids!

Life is full of seasons and challenges, and sometimes we all need extra support and a safe space where we can truly feel seen and heard. Therapy isn't just about addressing struggles—it's also about creating space for what matters most to you and cultivating the life you want to lead.

With over 20 years of experience in the social work field, I bring the wisdom I have gained from the many people I have connected with over the years. I also bring my own experiences of pain, loss and growth.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and strength-based, thoughtfully combining elements of Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I wholeheartedly believe in each person’s innate capacity for change, growth, and healing. Let’s create some space together for this.

Create some space for you!

Do you need a safe place to explore what matters to you and what's keeping you stuck?
Do you want to become more compassionate toward yourself?
Do you want to heal from your trauma?
